Eligibility Criteria SBI CBO Recruitment 2026
Education:
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government.
Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience (Post Essential Academic Qualification Experience) as on 31.12.2025 as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank as listed in Second Schedule of Reserve Bank of India.
Age limit :
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 30 years
Age relaxation applies for reserved categories:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
PwBD (General/EWS): 10 years
PwBD (OBC): 13 years
PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
Ex-Servicemen, ECOs, SSCOs (with 5 years of service): 5 years.
Nationality: Indian citizens
Selection Process & exam details SBI CBO Recruitment 2026
Online Examination: This includes an Objective Test (120 questions, 2 hours) and a Descriptive Test (1 letter, 1 essay, 30 minutes, 50 marks). Screening: Verification of documents and experience.
Interview: Personal interview round (50 marks). Local Language Proficiency Test: Proficiency in the local language of the applied circle.
The Objective Test has four sections:
English Language* (30 questions, 30 minutes)
Banking Knowledge* (40 questions, 40 minutes)
General Awareness/Economy* (30 questions, 30 minutes)
Computer Aptitude* (20 questions, 20 minutes)
There is no negative marking in the Objective Test
