Educational Qualification
1. For B. SC. Nursing
a) Candidate with Science who have passed the qualifying 12h Standard examination (10+2), must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together. The candidate must have pass marks in English.
b) Candidates are also eligible from StateOpen School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Scierice subjects and English only.
c) English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).
➜ The candidates must pass both Theory and Practical individually in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
➜ Male candidates are not eligible for admission in the Govt. Institutes of Assam.
2. For Pharmacy courses
Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary (10-2) Science or Equivalent Examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and/or Mathematics from recognized Board Council/University without grace marks. However, the students passing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling open school system of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B Pharm Course.
The candidates must pass both Theory and Practical individually in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics, as applicable.
3. For Allied & Healthcare Courses
The minimum qualification for selection of the candidates is HSSLC (Science) (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with English as one of the subjects and securing at least 45% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General Category candidates and 40% for candidates belonging ta OBC/MOBC (NCL)/SC/ST(P)/ST/H) category without grace marks.
The candidates must pass both Theory and Practical individually in Physics, Chemistry and Biology
Others Criteria
➜ Applicant must be a citizen of India.
➜ Permanent Resident Certificate is mandatory for admission in the Govt. Institutes of Assam.
➜ Married candidates are also eligible for admission.
➜ Candidate should be medically fit.
