1. Their name will be removed from the selection list

➜ Each student must use a unique mobile number for registration.The same number cannot be used for multiple applications.
➜ Gap certificates from ASSEB are not required (from session 2025–26).Students should contact institutions directly for eligibility.

HS 1st Year Admission 2026 – Guidelines for Institutions (Complete Details)
The admission process for HS 1st Year 2026 has been structured with clear guidelines for institutions to ensure transparency and smooth execution. Every school and college must follow the official SOP while admitting students through the DARPAN portal.
Preparation of Lists
After verifying applications, institutions will prepare the Selection List and Waiting List.
List Availability
Lists will be published on the DARPAN portal.Students will also receive SMS notifications about their selection.
Document Verification
Institutions must conduct physical verification of documents at the time of admission.
Admission Confirmation
Once a student accepts the admission offer, the institution must click “Confirm Admission” on the portal.This must be done regularly and before 08 May 2026.Only students who accept the offer can be confirmed.
Change of Stream/Subjects
Institutions can change a student’s stream/subjects only with the student’s consent.Changes must be updated on the portal on the same day.Further modifications may also be allowed later as per rules.
Student Consent is Mandatory
Institutions must not admit any student without their consent.
No Cross-Institution Enrollment after selection
Institutions are not allowed to enroll students through other institutions.
Complete Admission on Time
Admissions must be completed within the given deadline.Delay will result in a fine of ₹5000 per day.
