Assam HSLC Exam 2026 Details
The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) released the routine for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) 2026 examination on November 19, 2025. As per the schedule, the ASSEB Class 10th HSLC Exam 2026 will be held from February 10th, 2026, to February 27th, 2026.

Important Instructions Assam HSLC Exam Routine 2026
# Extra Time: Five minutes extra time is allowed from 8:55 AM to 9:00 AM in the Morning shift and 1:25 PM to 1:30 PM in the Afternoon shift to read the Question Paper only. The Officer-in-Charge will arrange distribution of Question Papers accordingly.
* Modern Indian Languages (MIL): Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi, Manipuri, Hmar, Nepali, Mizo, Khasi, Garo, Karbi & Urdu.
* Elective Languages (Time 3 hours) and In Lieu Languages (Time 2 hours): There will be a common Question paper with groups A and B for each Language viz,- Assamese (E), Hindi (E), Manipuri (E) and Santhali (E) irrespective of Elective or Lieu Language.
* Candidates offering Elective subject will have to appear in both the Groups A and B while In Lieu Language the candidates will have to appear in Group A only, which will be treated as Assamese (IL), Bengali (IL), Hindi (IL), Bodo (IL), Manipuri (IL) and Santhali (IL) respectively.

- Practical exams for HSLC will be held in January 2026.
