Physical Standards
Height Requirements: For General, OBC/MOBC, and SC categories, the minimum height requirement for males is 162.5 cm and for females is 154 cm (for most constable and sub-inspector posts). For ST (P) and ST (H) categories, the minimum height for males is 160 cm and for females is 152 cm. For Commando Battalion positions, height requirements are more stringent with General category males requiring 167 cm and females 162 cm. For Safai Karmachari posts, the height requirement for General/OBC/MOBC/SC males is 160 cm and for females is 150 cm.
Chest Measurements (For Male Candidates Only): For General, OBC/MOBC, SC, and ST (P) categories, the minimum chest measurement is 80 cm (normal) with 5 cm expansion. For ST (H) category, it is 78 cm (normal) with 5 cm expansion for most posts. For Commando Battalion posts, the chest requirement for General/OBC/MOBC/SC/ST (P) is minimum 85 cm with 5 cm expansion, and for ST (H) is 80 cm with 5 cm expansion.
