The Government of Assam has launched the Chief Minister’s Jibon Prerana Scheme on November 3, 2025, under the Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department. This initiative aims to empower fresh graduates from government and public institutions in Assam by providing financial assistance of ₹2,500 per month for one year. The amount will be directly transferred to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Eligibility Criteria CM’s Jibon Prerana Scheme
- Must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Must be a 2025 pass-out from a government or public institution in Assam.
- Must be unemployed at the time of application.
- Exclusions: Graduates from private or open universities, children of government employees (except Class IV staff), ministers, MLAs, or registered contractors, and families with an annual income above ₹10 lakh .
