Eligibility Criteria Indian Air Force Recruitment 2026
Education
Science Stream Candidates:
10+2 passed with Physics, Mathematics, and English,
OR
3-year Engineering Diploma,
OR
2-year vocational course with Physics and Mathematics.
Minimum Marks Required:
50% aggregate marks
50% marks in English
Non-Science Stream Candidates:
10+2 passed in any stream,
OR
2-year vocational course.
Minimum Marks Required:
50% aggregate marks
50% marks in English (Class 10 or 12)
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 17.5 years
Maximum Age: 21 years
Age calculation will be as per official notification.
Nationality
Candidate must be a Citizen of India.

The selection process consists of three phases:
Phase I – Online Written Exam

Phase II – Physical & Adaptability Tests
Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
1.6 km running
Push-ups
Sit-ups

Adaptability Tests:

Phase III – Medical Examination
Conducted by Indian Air Force medical authorities
