Eligibility Criteria RBI Office Attendant Recruitment 2026
Education:
Minimum Qualification: 10th standard pass (SSC/Matriculation) from a recognized board of the concerned State/UT. No Graduation Required: Candidates who are graduates or have higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.
Language Proficiency*: Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the State/UT (read, write, speak, and understand).
Additionally, ex-servicemen must have completed at least 15 years of defence service and should not possess a graduation degree obtained outside Armed Forces service.
Age limit :
SC/ST Candidates: 5 years relaxation (up to 30 years) OBC Candidates: 3 years relaxation (up to 28 years)
PwBD Candidates: 10 years (GEN/EWS), 13 years (OBC), and 15 years (SC/ST) Ex-Servicemen: Length of service in Armed Forces + 3 years, subject to a maximum age of 50 years
Nationality: Indian Citizens only
Selection Process & exam details RBI Office Attendant Recruitment 2026
The RBI Office Attendant Recruitment 2026 selection process involves two stages:
A. Online Written Examination: This is an objective-type test with 120 questions, carrying 120 marks, and a duration of 90 minutes. The exam consists of four sections: Reasoning Ability (30 questions, 30 marks)
General English* (30 questions, 30 marks)
General Awareness* (30 questions, 30 marks)
Numerical Ability* (30 questions, 30 marks)
B. Language Proficiency Test (LPT)*: Candidates who qualify the online written exam will be eligible for LPT, which is mandatory and qualifying in nature
The exam pattern includes negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

Photograph: Recent passport-size photo (200×230 pixels, <50KB) Signature: Scanned signature (140×60 pixels, <20KB)
Left Thumb Impression: Scanned left thumb impression (<50KB)

B. Register: Click on “New Registration” and enter your name, contact number, and email ID to generate a registration number and password. C. Fill the application form: Log in and fill out the form with personal, educational, and communication details.
D. Upload documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration. E. Pay the application fee: Use Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, or Mobile Wallet to pay the fee (₹450 for General/OBC/EWS and ₹50 for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen).
F. Submit and print*: Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
