RRB JE Recruitment 2025 Online Apply– 2569 Junior Engineer & Other Posts.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), under the Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India, has released an employment notification CEN No. 05/2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill 2569 posts for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant across various RRBs in India.

• Application Start Date: October 31, 2025
• Initial Application End Date: November 30, 2025
• Extended Application End Date: December 10, 2025
• Application Fee Payment Deadline: December 12, 2025
  

Age Limit: 18 to 36 years (with relaxations for reserved categories)

Age Relaxation: The relaxation of upper age limit for reserved categories are as follows: 

Category	Age Relaxation
OBC-NCL	3 years
SC/ST	5 years
PwBD – UR & EWS	10 years
PwBD – OBC/NCL	13 years
PwBD – SC & ST	15 years

Educational Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline.

* Junior Engineer Electrical: Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute

* Junior Engineer Civil: (a) Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering of three years duration or (b) a combination of any substream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

*Junior Engineer/ Track Machine: (a) Three years Diploma in Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation and Control Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation and Control Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

* Junior Engineer Mechanical: Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Industrial/ Machining/ Instrumentation and Control/ Tools and Machining/ Tools and Die Making/ Automobile/ Production Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Industrial/ Machining/ Instrumentation and Control/ Tools and Machining/ Tools and Die Making/ Automobile/ Production Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.

* Junior Engineer/ Diesel Electrical: Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

* Junior Engineer/ S and T/ Telecommunication: Three years Diploma in (a) Electrical/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Communication Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Electrical/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Communication Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

* Depot Material Superintendent: Three Years Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institution. 

* Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University/ Institute.

• Nationality: Indian citizens and other specified nationalities

• General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 500
• SC/ST/PH/Female: Rs. 250

The selection process involves:

• Computer Based Test (CBT) Stage 1: 100 questions, 90 minutes
• CBT Stage 2: 150 questions, 120 minutes
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination
