The Bank of Baroda Local Bank Officer (LBO) Recruitment 2026 selection process includes the following stages:
Stage 1 : Online Examination

Stage 2 : Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
➜ Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state they have applied for, including reading, writing, speaking and understanding.
➜ Candidates who have studied the required local language as a subject in Class 10 or 12 and have proof through their marksheet/certificate are not required to appear for the LPT.
Stage 3: Personal Interview / Group Discussion.
Candidates are shortlisted for GD and/or Personal Interview based on their online examination performance, vacancies and cut-off criteria decided by the Bank. The GD/PI assesses communication, personality, problem-solving ability, efficiency, sales aptitude and suitability for the LBO post.
Minimum qualifying marks for GD/PI:
➜ General Category: 60%
➜ Reserved Category: 55%
Stage 4 : Psychometric Test or Other Assessment, if conducted by the Bank.
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the online examination will proceed to the further selection stages. The LPT must be qualified before appearing for the Personal Interview.
